Misunderstandings and ego,

The riot in the streets got them sharing a meal together.

The hand made food, the shared dishes;

Mouth full of talk and air filled with laughter,

nostalgia smiled and the pigeons visited once again.

Hey,
I apologise,
                  for being a victim when I could've spoken out.
                  for not standing up to what I believed for the fear of being laughed at.
                  for being the bully: it tasted good.
                  for pretending like I did not understand your pain because it sucked being in that state.
                  for trying to level according to my peers knowing you gave me everything you could and still asked for more.
                  for despising you of being yourself.
                  for disliking everything I owned.
                  for wanting more.
                  for laughing at you.
                  for ill-talking because it sounded cool.
                  for crying and complaining.
                  for blaming you for all my mistakes: it was the easiest way out.
                  for mentally seeking revenge.
                  for wanting you to never get over me.
                  for never wanting to open up but wanting you to understand.
                  for being a total jerk.
                  for knowing all your weaknesses and still using a knife to poke you.
                  for just every wrong move I took intentionally but unintentionally.
                  for being selfish but I knew the only way then.
                  for trying to fit in when I had to only fit in my skin.

the place we call home
is it the place you are born in? but how? you change homes in the course of your life. its only memories that remain.

the bones that give you structure and the mind that lets you hear, see, smell and feel.
everything you touch, everything you feel, everything that makes you is home.

Find home within yourself you will find home anywhere you go.

so what is it about nature do you know now?
Been here all your life. seen things. believed blindly.
how much can you control the things around you?
if you were to give it all, would it still be enough?
why do we have the intense desire to connect? to find comfort, search for home in every thing possible, in every person you meet?
is it fear that drives us all?
is it insecurity over things, blinded by ego to feel the minor blows only to feel when the storm actually hits?
to not feel is to feel less human?
To feel too much is being weak?
To procrastinate feeling is the new weapon?
or deal with it as it is and feel a part of you dying with every thorn you encounter?
